At Codex Art & Apparel, we strive to create unique and quality garments. The Codex origin story begins with a childhood love of comic books that grew into a deep appreciation of art and the people who make it. We have spent many happy years attending Comic-Cons and other conventions working with some of the most creative people in comics and fine art. As our appreciation of original art grew over those years, so did our desire to share it. We wanted to find a unique way to showcase these artists. An idea was born: turn that art into something wearable; printing original designs on the best apparel out there.
Proud to hail from Duluth, Minnesota on the great northern shores of Lake Superior, we grew up surrounded by natural beauty. You don’t have to go far to see something truly breathtaking. The area also boasts a strong and talented artist community. We decided to draw upon both local and national talent as well as our deep Northern roots to inspire many of our original designs. It is our goal to bring our Minnesota Nice to every customer interaction along the way, both right here at home and worldwide.
